The PCA DE Program is designed so that participants can improve t heir driving abilities and acquire a better understanding of vehicle dynam ics and driving safety. Participants will experience first-hand the capabi lities of high performance automobiles in a controlled\, closed-course env ironment and acquire skills that will enhance safer vehicle operation in a ll driving situations.\nOne giant word of caution: this adventure can beco me very addictive. Our instructors will teach you to drive your Porsche th e way Stuttgart designed it to be driven. PCA DE schools are run in a safe and controlled environment on a closed course. Like any new sport your in structor will guide you into this exciting world of high performance drivi ng. These events are great sources of stories for the Monday morning coffe e break. You will have dreams about various turns and wake up with memorie s of your instructor yelling BRAKE or DON’T LIFT. These schools are truly the only safe way to learn the engineering dynamics that went into the dev elopment of this famous racing marque. However\, it is noted that PCA DE e vents are not racing\, nor preparation for racing. No times or placings ar e recorded\, and no awards or prizes are received by the participants of P CA Driver’s Education events\; just a lot of fun and camaraderie. Yes\, it ’s a highly social activity enjoyable for spectators who accompany and sup port drivers. That said\, ANY conduct considered by the Porsche Club of Am erica to be either unsafe or inconsistent with the spirit or purpose of th e Driver’s Education Program will not be permitted. This approach keeps th e events safe and enjoyable for all participants and attendees!\nHow to re gister: We use \;www.ClubRegistration.net. Most of you have already us ed ClubRegistration.net and will need to do nothing more than log in and s ign up. If this is your first time\, you will need to create a new account . It’s not difficult and\, once complete\, registering for events is very easy and fast.
