Finally, Porsche season is here. We’ve put up with snow, cold weather, extended power outages and cold rain to finally get to Spring. Now that Spring has sprung, Metro has a full calendar of events to enjoy. Starting with the Collector Car Showcase in Oyster Bay, Long Island, we assembled for the first Cars and Coffee of the season. With nearly picture perfect weather and a nip in the air, we had a strong turnout and we enjoyed the kickoff to what we expect will be a strong season of activities for Metro. We followed up with a very strong turnout at the Collector Car Garage in Westchester with infectious spring weather. Alas, it was only a hint of good weather and the car is back under the cover, but hopefully not for too much longer.
The online calendar reflects our current organized activies and we have something for everyone. We have coffee, we have rallys, we have driv- ers education and we have autocross. We also have treks and we have coffee runs, we have concours and we have technical sessions. If you own a Porsche, it is likely we have something for you.
Please notice that we have bunch of things planned for April. Between DE at Lime Rock, Autocross on Long Island and Cars and Coffee in Westchester, its a strong season for the “Porsche life”. And for those of us who have a cabriolet, the next step is weather warm enough to drop
